The blanket is soft and very comfortable, but the care was way to much trouble. The cost to have this cleaned professionally was the same as buying a new one so I did what I could to clean it myself. Since the blanket was too big to really get clean in the washer and micro suede will melt/burn in the dryer; I washed this in the bath tub and hung it to dry. It was so hard to ring most of the water out and so heavy to move to hang. The other thing I didn’t like was the feathers came out of the blanket so constantly that it was never without a lint covered look and there were always feathers everywhere to clean up. You live and learn. I now have a different blanket that is not filled with feathers.
